Volunteering to Help Team 303 RAMP
It takes an army to run a robotics team! Team 303 RAMP needs volunteers with a range of skills to help them throughout the year. If you have a particular skill set that might be helpful to the team, please Contact RAMP. We need helpers and mentors with all sorts of abilities. Here are some ways that you can help Team 303!
Concession Event Coordinators

Join the RAMP Executive Board
Board members serve for a 1 year term starting on July 1. Each May an election is held to fill all positions for the coming year. It is essential to the health of the organization that new people run for office each year. This ensures a constant supply of fresh ideas. See the RAMP Bylaws for details on board member roles and responsibilities.
Build Season Team Meals Coordinator

Travel Coordinator
We need at least 1 volunteer to help coordinate team travel. You will work with the team advisors on planning & booking travel arrangements (air fare, bus transportation, hotels, activities, etc.) for the team when they travel to out of state events.

Grants Coordinator
We need volunteers to help coordinate solicitation of grants from local businesses to sponsor the team. You will work with other parents to draft letters to potential sponsors.

Advertising Coordinator/Mentor
We need at least 1 volunteer to help the team organize a strategy around marketing and obtaining sponsorships for Team 303. If you have marketing knowledge and could help the team develop a plan to solicit and communicate with donors, we could use your help. Please Contact RAMP if you are able to help with this position.
2019/2020 Coordinator: VOLUNTEER NEEDED
Spring & Fall Cleanup Coordinator
We need 1 volunteer to coordinate the spring (May/June) & fall (October/November) high school clean up events. This volunteer would need to coordinate a date of their choosing with the township and team calendar, draft an e-mail to send out to the team looking for student and parent volunteers to help with the clean up and report back to the town to coordinate for the donation payment.

Volunteer to Help With the Spring & Fall Cleanup
We need adult and student volunteers to participate in the high school grounds clean up days. This is a very good fundraiser for the team. We are reimbursed by the township for spending a few hours cleaning up the high school grounds. Volunteers meet at 9:00am on the selected date and walk around the high school grounds picking up litter. Gloves and garbage bags are provided to volunteers. Please contact the cleanup coordinator above to volunteer to help.
Help Run the End of Build Season Party
This is a time for the students to reflect and celebrate the "gracious professionalism", team spirit and sheer determination required to build a robot to meet the specs required for FIRST competition! Our hope is that you will contribute to the success of the "End of Build" season party by donating your time, talents and requested items.
Plan the End of Year Party
A committee of volunteers is needed to plan and run the Team 303 End of Year Banquet and Celebration. Volunteers are needed to help the students pick and book a venue, plan the menu, and coordinate activities for the event.
Run a Fundraiser
While our primary fundraisers during the year are the concession stands that we hold at events, we have held the following smaller fundraisers in the past: Yestercades Event, Coupon Book Sales, Gertrude Hawk Candy Sale, Premiere Designs Jewelry Sale and Meals at a local restaurant that will donate a % of sales to RAMP. Every dollar counts, so if you have an idea for a team fundraiser, please step up and run it for team team.

Build Team Mentors - The Team 303 Build Team needs mentors with technical skills in electrical, mechanical, programming and engineering to help teach students the necessary skills needed to understand how to build a robot. If you have a skill you can share with the team, please contact the Team 303 Captains.
